Visioconference : Cisco 7985 with Tandberg

Hello,

I have CCM 7,and 7985 endpoint registered as SCCP endpoint.Our Need, to communicate with Tandberg endpoint that can be accessed via IP.Is there any requirement to use Gatekeeper and register both endpoints to it ?

You can simply add the Tandberg unit in CUCM as an H.323 phone. And tell the Tandberg to use Call Manager for call control.

You'll need a gatekeeper if you want to multipoint conference with the Tandberg Unit.

Depending on the model Tandberg you are using, you might be able to upgrade it to SCCP. That is what we have done and it works great.
