Hi all,
my question: when do i have to use capability vrf-lite?
well, i have 2 6K with vrf-lite configured and ospf process activated. interfaces between 2 6K are in vrf foo and also ospf process vrf foo and area 0.
at the edge of 6k i've got 2 2600 (no vrf on 2600....), interfaces beetwen 2600 and 6K is in vfr foo (6K side) and for 2600A just connection in area 1 and for 2600B connection in area 2 (attached 2600A to 6kA and 2600B to 6kB).
SO i tought that without capability vrf-lite (configured just on 6k where i have vrf configured without BGP) the two 2600 did not learn route IA. But all devices can see other devices even for some route learned from LSA5 (redistribute static on 2600).
So now i cannot understand meaning of 'capability vfr-lite' under 'router ospf vrf foo'.
may i have one examples of right utilization of that command with 4 devices involved?
thx very much

The command capability vrf-lite is needed only when you want to install summary LSA's which are by default not installed into the VRF routing table.
