Hello,

I have a configuration where I need an access point(1131ag) to disable the dot11radio interface or or disable the ssid when the fastethernet0 interface is down. Is there an option for this?

Thanks,

Dan.

I'm pretty sure this is not possible. Do you have issues with the switch port always going down and users associated to that ap hanging in limbo? If it was a PoE switchport, I would think that power to the ap would bring down the ap.

This ap is on a cart with notebooks. The cart is brought to a room, the ap is then plugged into to the wall jack and then powered on. The notebooks are then used in that room. The problem is that when the person that brings the cart into the room forgets to plug in the network cable, or the wall jack is not live/working the ap broadcasts, but nobody can connect.
