Solved: Presence and MS OCS integration. Is the MCS7816 supported?

the MCS 7816 is not listed as a viable OCS presence gateway, although it is listed for up to 500 CUPC users supported. I have a very small office that wants the OCS/Presence gateway (under 50 users). Is the 7825 the minimum hardware supported?

MCS-7816-H3 and MCS-7816-I3 are listed as compatible model for CUPS 7.0.x installation.

I don't know why they are not listed in the "Microsoft Office Communicator Interoperability" table. If you have a very small deployment, it should work.

Hi KYLE,

I guess you want to know if MCS 7816 is compatible with presence 7.0, meaning presence 7.0 can be installed on MCS 7816. If that's the case then as pointed by Michael it is supported.

You are referring to the wrong URL. You need to refer to Table 3, just above the table you were referring to and you'll find MCS 7816 mentioned over there.

What you were referring is actually the Sizing for MCS server which will run CUCM.
