Hi,

I need to monitor the application/traffic patterns moving across my router.I would be using nbar for this(hope this is gud).I would be attaching this to my wan interface..which i hope should be correct & best?

I am also trying to view the outputs as graphs on mrtg which runs on window platform for which i would need MIB id.

Any idea whats the MIB for this & how would i actually use the MIB to depict the result in graphical format.

Please help with anyother information useful to attain my goal.

Netflow should be easier to "view" than NBAR. You can either view the results locally on the router, the ports are in hex, so it's pretty clumsy. You can use a 3rd party app which will give you nice graphs. Here's a link to a free edition (limit to 2 interfaces) of some software that we use.
