Resetting and management of Catalyst 2948G

I just recently picked up a Catalyst 2948G and would like to find out the following: 1/ how to reset the unit, and 2/ find out if it is possible to manage the unit through CISCO's Network assistant as i am unfamikiar with the CISCO terminal access. I would truly appreciate some assistance regarding this matter.

but you need at leat to give it one IP ADDRESS And snmp community string

CNA only supports IOS switches that is an older catos box. The only way to reset it is thru command line . The "clear config all" command will reset it. If you get the right catos version on it , it can support a gui interface.The image version would have to a "cv" somewhere in the image name which stands for ciscoview.
