Odd activity from port connected to a wireless controller

I was not 100% sure where this message should be posted but figured I would start here.

I have a location that uses a Symbol WS2000 wireless controller to support their wireless network. Connectivity and use of the wireless network at the facility seems to be working fine but I am starting to see more and more of the messages below. I have been trying to track these down to see what is causing them but am running out of ideas. It seems to be a variety of MAC addresses and at first I though it was simply from devices connecting to the wireless network. Then I though maybe I had an antenna or something going bad but in acc cases I could not find the source of the mac addresses.

This last friday my Solarwinds monitoring system lost connectivity at the same time there was a new entry in the log for an invalid source address. I am not sure if the two are in any way connected but was something that I noticed.

Anyone have any ideas or solutions as to the next step? I have also posted a message to our vendor rep to see what they may recommend.

Do you have port security enabled on this port (g3/23) by chance? Is this the port that the AP is on?

HTH,

Nope I don't have port security enabled on this port ..

interface GigabitEthernet3/23

description Link to WS2000 WAN Port

switchport trunk encapsulation dot1q

switchport trunk native vlan 7

switchport trunk allowed vlan 7,9,31

switchport mode trunk

switchport nonegotiate

speed 100

duplex full

and yes it is a trunk port the wireless controller is connected to.

Did this ever get resolved? I have the same issue.

thanks
