Hello,

Is there a way to view the Cluster Security passphrase. If not, is there a way to change it on the Publisher?

Thanks

Thanks Buddy. But I am getting an error when trying to add a subscriber to a cluster. The Error is "Cannot communicate with publisher on UDP port 8500" . Any ideas?

there are some bugs:

CSCsi11535 : install to verify network connectivity early or separately

CSCsl95815 :reinstall sub with hostname change fails

CSCsk45350 : Network validation fails on Sub the first time but succeeds upon retry

make sure you already added the SUB to the PUB config. in some cases a simple reboot fixes this.

I have added the SUB in teh PUB config. Rebooted the PUB couple of times. Still going nowhere. What is the recommended MTU size? 1500? Do i have to change it on the PUB too?

The servers were plugged into a HP switch. Replaced it with a LInksys and all is well. Bizarre...

By adding to the Pub config did you just have to add the Sub as a new server (hostname and IP address) to the Web configuration?

I'm having the same issues with UDP 8500.

Yep.
