Hi All,
I am doing an upgrade of RADIUS server, I would like if there is any way in which I can check out the RADIUS server is working fine in all autonomous AP and WLC. I want to do it proactively before any customer comes and complaints of the authentication failures..
Any help in the regard is appreciated
Thanks
Raj

Hi,
on IOS APs, there is a test command.
(test aaa ...).
I'm not aware of a test command on the WLC software. But I guess you are not changing the IP, port or shared secret of the RADIUS server, right? You should be good with the IOS test commands.

Can you guide me how to use the command. I would like to know the following things
Can I specify a RADIUS group ( I have got multiple RADIUS groups configured in my AP)
I see something called legacy and new-code in the last of the command, I couldn't get any help on those things
I tried with 1200 AP withVersion 12.3(7)JA2.
Thanks

Nik,
If you are using Autonmous IOS, then yes. You can configure RADIUS to your AP like you always do with other appliance.
