Solved: E1 Controller problem

Hi...

I have 2 MB Leased line from R1 To R2.

R1

Inter se 0/0/0

ip add 10.5.4.78 255.255.255.252

no shut

R2

controller E1 1/1

framing NO-CRC4

channel-group 1 timeslots 31 speed 64

interface Serial1/1:1

ip add 10.5.4.77 255.255.255.252

no cdp enable

no shut

When i give remote loop from R1, it get on R2 and vice versa.Also Local loop is getting vice-versa.

I am getting Line protocol Down on Both router.

It's urget..

can some one tell me is it workable like

R1 having link on Modem and R2 having link directly on E1 Controller.

Hi Arjun ,

Check the encapsulation configured for serial interfaces on both the routers..it must be either hdlc or ppp on both the routers.

Please send us " show controller " and show interface output of both the routers.

Did you check the framing, line code and clock source with your provider what type of parameters they configured on their end.

I configured Encapsulation ppp on both side but still problem persist.

Pls find the attachment for logs.

I think it should be:

or you want to use only timeslot 31 ?

are you sure that the modeule of wic is supported by the hardware used ?

Please check with Service provider if the provisioned link or Circuit is Framed or unframed.

so you have to co-ordinate with the Service provider,

as the VWIC-1MFT-T1/E1 Cards supports

controller E1 0/0/0

framing NO-CRC4

channel-group 0 timeslots 1-31

or you if you have G703 controller card

" VWIC2-MFT-G703" or VWIC2-2MFT-G703

controller E1 0/0/0

channel-group 0 unframed
