We have done a DIRT Backup on a failed server. Built a new which is all working OK. Able to create accounts, leave messages etc. However when we try a DIRT restore and point to the backup directory we get an error backup files cannot be found.

Any Ideas ?

Steve

Not sure what you mean by a backup on a "Failed server" - did the backup complete ok? What do you see in that directory? I suspect the backup didn't finish (or finished with significant errors) and necessary backup files are not present. Do you have the log file from the backup itself?

Steve,

To piggy-back on what Jeff suggested... have you confirmed the the "UnityDBBackUp.sql" actually exists in the remote location?

you are correct the UnityDBBackUp.sql is missing in the remote location although it looks like most of the files are there. The old server has crashed and we will try to recover it to see if we can do another Dirt backup including the UnityDBBackUp.sql file.

Thanks

Steve
