I need to know what ports are needed open for vpn connections both tunnel and client.

My internet connection is threw a group that supplies internet securing and other software solutions.

They have a firewall in place (ASA I think) and I have a firewall that connects to there network.

What I need to know is that is that ports that the provider needs to open so that I can connect remotely to my network.

I have a 515 with v6.3.5 configured with isakmp, ipsec, using des encryption.

Hi,

For VPN establishment you need the following to be allowed.

1. esp (ip protocol 50)

2. ah (ip protocol 51)

3. udp 500 (IKE)

4. udp 4500 (IKE NAT-T)
