Hi Pros,

Ireally need help with this project.Tere is the thing, we are using a t1 trough an Altiagent server now, everything is fine. Now we need to upgrade the Altiagent without any downtime.

We are thinking to add a cisco router to replace the altiagent while we doing some work in the alti-agent. We just need this back door just for a couple of hours.

Any ideas? I do not know where to start yet....

Thanks in Advance,

First, can you explain exactly how you are using AltiAgent now? I'm not familiar with the product. Does it handle the call handling and automatic call distribution to agents? What voice client do the agents use and is it hardware or software based?

Alti-agent is sort of PBX that redistribute the calls for now.All the phone are IP phone with Altiagent software.Alti-agent server has a T1 connection to the PSTN.

So you need something that will handle and distribute calls while you upgrade AltiAgent. How much functionality do you need and how long will you need it? How many lines do you need to support the call center during the upgrade?

Not more than 10 line for less than 3 hours. Or just forward all the calls to one external line.
