I have a router in Montevideo that I need to replace, but before I do this I must get the OOB connection working. The modem answers and I see my login prompt, but the screen then scrolls and I cannot type my login info (its almost like someone is holding down return key). Could this be caused by echo on the line? I suppose I will get the local folks to have the dial line looked at. I was hoping someone might have some other suggestions. The router is a 2620XM and the modem is connected to the console port.
