I do have 16. Is that enough to enable all the 24 channels of the T1?

cRAZY

ok, do you mean 16 DSPs??

or 16 channels??

the PRI needs 1 channel per DS0. so 24 channels for a full PRI.

NOp, I mean that I have 2 DSPs for 16 voice resources. Is that enough DSP for a full t1 or can I just enable up to 14 channel for the t1?

Crazy

ok, 1 DSP = 16 channels

so either you have 1 DSP which means 16 channels, or 2 8PDVMs which are half DSPs.

if you have 2 DSPs then that's 32 channels

in any case, a T1 as i already mentioned requires 1 channel per DS0. so 24 channels required, if you have 16 you cannot use the full T1.

This error is a little confusing, because the error in #1 is what #2 is complaining about. You'll get a different error when you don't have enough DSPs...I think it actually says you don't have enough DSPs..

Following is the config for the clocking:

network-clock-participate wic 3

network-clock-select 1 T1 0/3/0

isdn switch-type primary-ni

controller T1 0/3/0

framing esf

linecode b8zs

pri-group timeslots 1-24 service mgcp

exit

Good luck!
