CCM5.1 and Siemens - Seizing a trunk

Need to be able to use the paging system on a Siemens PBX. Siemens phones dial 6 then 8 digits. Is it possible to seize a trunk from an IP phone on CCM5.1 on a Siemens PBX? I know the access code (6)and have configured a Route Pattern of 6 and 6XXXXXXXX - no joy.

Any ideas?

How are you connecting to the PBX? Most likely you will need to look at debug isdn q931.

Its an MGCP GW connected to PBX via QSIG. The digits get to Siemens PBX but in one long string. Not sure if its possible to sieze the trunk by dialling 6 from an IP phone or if introducing a delay might help somehow?
