hi i guess you have installed the ASDM windows version on your desktop.

this is not a issue,, there is a button near the refresh button called Save.

press that save button then configuration will copy to your computer, 1s that complete press refresh button.

you'll be able to access the ASDM.

hope this will help you out..

please let us know ur update.

It should be a Java problem. You need Java6 update(7) or older version.

Hi ,

If you have jre update 1.6.10 or 1.6.11 version then it may create problem with ASDM launcher.

1 )Procedure is if you have the Jre update 10 or 11 then 1st revert back to update 1.6.6 & 1.6.7 .

2) Go to the ASDM Installation folder (default: C:\Program Files\Cisco Systems\ASDM)

3) Right Click the File in the folder called asdm-launcher.config & remove the Read-Only attribute

4) Edit the asdm-launcher.config file in Notepad

5) Add the below line to the Config File

javapath c:\Program Files\Java\jre1.6.0_07\bin\client\jvm.dll

6) Save the Config File & Run ASDM

try this if it work's .
