CCM 6.x transferring ringlist.xml via SFTP

H,

I am having problem in transferring the ringlist.xml file from the secure FTP.

here is what i am trying to do,

On the ccm CLI -- file get tftp Ringlist.xml

Please wait while the system is gathering file info...done

Number of file in Bytes:1

Total size in Bytes:2241

Total size in Kbytes: 2.1884766

Would you like to proceed [Y/N]? ...here I press Y to proceed.

SFTP Server: 10.1.0.18 (here I put my IP where CuteFTP is running)

SFTP Server port [22]: 22 ....here I press 22 to proceed.

User ID: ccm ...here I put the user account I created in my machine with administrator privilege

Password:

Download Directory: C:\\sftp .....here I put the directory of the CUTEFTP default Download Folder.

Could not connect to 10.1.0.18 port 22. Please verify sftp setting.

Note that I disabled my windows firewall and my Antivirus all throughout the procedure.

I am using CUTEFTP for the transfer.....

can someone let me know what is the issue?

It connects successfully but no file is transferred .....it comes to the admin propt again...

Hi,

Have u created the user you are trying to use in the freeFTPD server. You need to create the user and use the "harsh authentication" this will then allow you to add a pssword for the user. From the logs its obviuos that user does not have acess to the server.

You need a sftp SERVER. Try http://www.freesshd.com/freeFTPd.exe
