Configure CMM module on core switch as MGCP &H323 gateway on call manager

Can I configure CMM module on core switch (6 E1 sub module as MGCP and H323 gateway)in the same time to register on call manager 4.2

yes you can, exactly the same as you would do it on any ISR

i had my 6T1 module with 2 MGCP, 2 H323 and 2 unused in my lab

thank you so much , now I have 2 CMM modules on different core switches and I configured controller E1/4 as h323 gateway on each module , I configured route pattern on call manager ,when I point the route pattern to one h323 gateway the call established between IP phone and PBX ,

when I point the route pattern to route list contain on the two h323 gateway the call is always busy and not established

Hi hadelmahmoud,

CallManager will not redirect the call to GW2 in case E1 of GW1 cannot route the call to PBX.

To do this, please configure in GW1 a VoIP dial peer to reach PBX numbers with a high preference value (so that it is less preferred) and a session target pointing towards GW2. Then in GW1 configure:

voice service voip

allow-connections h323 to h323
