Uzma,

I don't know exactly what your problem is. Please post the configuration.

Toshi

Uzma,

I'm not sure that why I got 1P!. Well,I don't want to presume things. Actually I had in mind about the default route missing from your configuration.

Toshi

Hello Toshi,

my guess is that if the ATM interface is not point-to-point, and/or ATM inverse ARP is disabled, a manual mapping is needed:

I usually use mapping also for point-to-point ATM subinterface

Something like this:

int atm4/0

no ip address

int atm4/0.100 point-to-point

ip address 10.82.16.1 255.255.255.252

pvc 10/100

protocol ip 10.82.16.2 broadcast

Hope to help

Giuseppe

Giuseppe,

That's nice. 5P!

I just want more information to help. That's why I asked for configuration.

Thanks

Toshi
