Network Management: Solarwinds Engineer's Toolset VS. Advent OpUtils

Unanswered Question

Which do you prefer and why? We utilize Engineer's Toolset 9.2, but in my limited exposure to OpUtils I am impressed with some of the features. An example would be the ability to schedule regular config downloads in the Config File Manager. I don't see that in Solarwind's Eng. Toolset.

What do you think?

I have this problem too.

Solarwind's Engineer's Toolset is a "fruit cocktail" mixture of various tools packaged into one big tools. You can tell when you will find, for example, two different applications just to decode/decrypt Cisco encrypted passwords.

Unfortunately, "schedule regular config downloads" is not included in the Config Viewer, however, this does not stop some users to create a script to get around the shortcomings.
