Solved: Gateway loadbalance

Hi experts,

we got 2 h323 voice gateway connected to the Call manager 4.1. we always notice that the calls will always be on the 1st gw then the 2nd gw will only be use when all the channels are used up. Can someone pls. help me how to loadbalance them?

very simple, add both GWs to same RG and configure circular algorithm

you probably have top-down right now

thanks java.

currently the 2 GW are added on different RG name, each set to circular. Will put them on one RG name them test as you suggest

Another thing, will these setting be applicable to both incoming and outgoing? or just one? since the outgoing is not balancing the call, it;s always going out on the 1st GW.

just outgoing, you don't have control on incoming, that's telco business
