I'm exploring AXL and JTAPI for use with an upcoming integration, and am wondering if anyone can share some thoughts on how they compare to each other, whether they offer different capabilities, etc.?
Thanks,
Jon

AXL is configuration.. anything the admin would configure you can do via AXL (well, almost).
JTAPI is CTI.. making calls, being informed when a call comes in, transfering calls, setting up conferences, anything the user does interactively.
Hope that gives you a top level overview of what is what.

You can poll informations with AXL.
CallManager can push you information (LineStatus, ...) through JTAPI.
