I am trying to install a user defined vendor data file using csutil. I can successfully install the UDV using csutil, but when I look in 'interface configuration' in ACS the new UDV is not showing. The command I am running is: 'csutil -addudv 7 symbol.ini' and it tells me it has installed successfully. I am running ACS version 4.2, here is my VSA file:
[User Defined Vendor]
Name=SYMBOL
IETF Code=388
VSA 1=SYMBOL-AUTH
[SYMBOL-AUTH]
Type=integer
Profile=out
Enums=SYMBOL-AUTH-Enums
[SYMBOL-AUTH-Enums]
1=Monitor Role
2=Helpdesk Role
4=Nwadmin Role
8=Sysadmin Role
16=WebAdmin Role
32768=Superuser Role
Can anyone shed any light on this?

Did you try reloading the ACS? Also first you need to add any device in network configuration using that VSA.
Now it should show up in Interface configuration.

Brilliant I can now see the VSA. I had to specifiy a device to use that VSA in network configuration before it became visible.
Many thanks for the rapid response.
