Phone remains ringing when using FXO ports

Hi,

When there is an incoming call from PSTN that goes through an analog trunk (FXO) and nobody answer, if the calling party hang up the called party's phone remains ringing.

How can I set a time in order to avoid the called party's remaining ringing???

I set the next config in the port but it does not work.

voice-port 0/1/0

supervisory disconnect dualtone mid-call

no battery-reversal

timeouts call-disconnect 1

timeouts wait-release 1

timing hookflash-out 500

regards

If this router is not in the US you will want to enter your CPtone. Otherwise, the 'supervisory disconnect dualtone' will be looking for the wrong frequencies.

By the way - you have a larger problem than phones ringing. Try this - take a phone call from the PSTN, and transfer it out back to the PSTN out the same router. Now disconnect both calls. I'm fairly certain both ports will be stuck in a connected state indefinitely because your FXO disconnection isn't working properly.
