Hallo Community,
we have a customer who runs an bridge with two Aironet BR1310G Sys. S/W 12.4. Within the beam area there is an workshop what requires access for two or three workstations. Is it possible to use a AP1131G as "client" device because of cost reasons?
I could not find a hint in the documentation so far... Thank you!

I believe you can set an 1131 as a WGB but not as a non-root bridge. For a WGB scenario, you'll need to make sure that your root bridge is set as "station-role root bridge wireless-clients" and your 1131 as "station-role workgroup-bridge".
You can try setting your 1131 as "station-role non-root" instead, but I don't think that mode is allowed on that hardware.
You should be able to pick up a used 1232 relatively cheap, if you prefer to stick with real bridging.

Thank you! To avoid any problems I stay with the bridging and look for some Aironet 1232.
