I am looking at an ASA5510 that is using the management port for several VPN connections. It has connected at 100/HD and I am not sure what will happen if I start trying to force that to full-duplex. Will this take down the port? Will it cause any of the VPN connections to drop? Unfortunately, this is a live box and an outage would not be good.
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Changing port transmission settings on any live port either on asa or switch or router will bring down the port for few ms and brought backup quickly..but connections most likely will be dropped and will required to reconnect.
suggestion is to make port changes during non-production hours.
