Hi,
I am looking for a switch that has one 10G uplink port (more are not needed)and the others can be 1Gig ethernet ports.
It should support stacking too.
I found this one but I don't know if it is stackable.
Cisco Catalyst 3560E-12SD
12 SFP Gigabit Ethernet ports and 2 X2 10 Gigabit Ethernet ports

Smail,
The Catalyst 3750-E switches support stacking through Cisco StackWise Plus technology. The Catalyst 3560-E switches do not support switch stacking. Unless otherwise noted, the term switch refers to a standalone switch and to a switch stack.
Please check out this link.

Toshi

The 3750E series supports 10 gig module ports and can be stacked. (See http://www.cisco.com/en/US/products/ps7077/index.html)
There used to be a 3750 switch that provided one 10 gig port, but it has been discontinued. The 3750E and 3750 series can be mixed within the same stack. (See http://www.cisco.com/en/US/products/hw/switches/ps5023/index.html)

Errr ... If you want to "stack", then follow the instructions/recommendations from the previous 2 post.
There's another method: Cluster (A cluster is a group of connected switches that are managed as a single entity. The switches can be in the same location, or they can be distributed across a contiguous Layer 2 network. All communication with cluster switches is through one IP address.)

The command may be for the 3500 but it's still available for use.
