NAC Check for Vista Personal Firewall

I'm trying to create a new check in NAC to verify Vista's Firewall is enabled. I created a registry check for Windows XP Firewall however it doesn't seem to work with Vista.

Here is the Check I created for XP:

Windows XP Firewall Check

Registry Key:

HKLM\SYSTEM\ControlSet001\Services\SharedAccess\Parameters\FirewallPolicy\StandardProfile

Registry Value:

EnableFirewall

If the XP Firewall is on the Value will be = to “1”

any info would be great

Thanks

John

It's the same setting for Vista as XP. I would check the same area of the registry for a DomainProfile if you use domain computers. There should be a setting there that defines your area of interest with the same key name and same enabled = 1 and disabled = 0 settings.
