Strange failure for WLC in RME (4.1.1) archive config

Hi Experts,

I got this strange failure for WLC in RME archive config (LMS 3.0)

fig from device: java.net.SocketTimeoutException: Read timed out fig from device: java.net.SocketTimeoutException: Read timed out

Please advise.

What protocol are you using the fetch the config from the WLC (telnet or SSH)?

I am using both with Telnet as highest priority and SSH lower.

Hi Joe,

Telnet should be the correct one.

Anyway, I have figured out the solution. It's due to authentication priority is not correctly set in WLC and the credentials that I have used is only for read access. Hence, the config archive failed.
