How do I upgrade PIX525(Ac+FO)6.3 to 8.0

Hello Pro,

I plan to upgrade two PIX525(Active/FO mode) 6.3 to 8.0 The current flash:16M,memory:256M.

I'd like to know the followings:

1. Do I need to upgrade flash and memory card;

2. How do I get ur license and fo license

3. May I upgrade from 6.3 to 8.0 directly, or I need to upgrade to middle version 7.x at first and then proceed to 8.0

It's an upcoming issue, would you please give me some advice on this issue?

No , you seem to meet requirements, 16F and 256RAM minimum is required for ur and fo.

2. How do I get ur license and fo license

Whatever active license is running under 6.x will carry over onto 7.x/8.x

3. May I upgrade from 6.3 to 8.0 directly, or I need to upgrade to middle version 7.x at first and then proceed to 8.0

my suggestion is to upgrade to a GD release in the 7.x train first.
