AP auto reboot

Hi, I have a Cisco wireless controller 4402. And it have connect 15pcs Cisco Aironet 1130AG Access Point which is running on LWAPP. A couple of days ago, all the AP to start to random reboot. The reboot reason which I check on the AP is

******** Restart Reason ********

UPGRADED THE NEW SOFTWARE, REBOOTING TO START WITH NEW IMAGE

But we have not any action to upgraded the new image. Why the AP will upgrade the AP image. And how to fix it ?

Console into your AP and post the following output: sh version, dir, sh clock

Can you also tell us the uptime of your WLC?

We also need the version of code you are running on the WLC and the date and time on the WLC.

The WLC Product Version is 4.2.61.0

RTOS Version is 4.2.61.0

Bootloader Version is 4.2.61.0

System Up Time is 497 days 0 hrs 20 mins 33 secs

24pcs AP is AIR-AP1020-CK9

Sofware version is 4.2.61.0

Boot Version 2.1.78.0

All AP uptime not more then 3days

How old are you 1020's? The MIC on those units is set to expire at either 3 or 5 years. Make sure you havent expired your certs on them. This will cause them to reboot. Also, I think 4.2.176 will still support the 1000 series. I would try.
