Hi All,

I am at strange.

We have one primary location as DC at Odense

we have one Core switch (4507) here and all servers directly connected to this one.

One MPLS line with 2 MB speed connected to this switch only.

we have many remote locations and those all will be access DC through MPLS line only

Here I want which port utilising more bandwidth or in / out data flow.

NOTE: the core switch does not support to enable #ip flow cache & #ip counters

Is there any other ways how we can get exactly which port how utilizating

I already verified with command #sh int stats but we have to check this pirodically if we want correct figure for particular time frame.

Hello Naidu,

on C4500 you can use

sh int summary it provides numbers one line for each port

Example:

sh int summary

*: interface is up

IHQ: pkts in input hold queue IQD: pkts dropped from input queue

OHQ: pkts in output hold queue OQD: pkts dropped from output queue

RXBS: rx rate (bits/sec) RXPS: rx rate (pkts/sec)

TXBS: tx rate (bits/sec) TXPS: tx rate (pkts/sec)

TRTL: throttle count

Interface IHQ IQD OHQ OQD RXBS RXPS TXBS TXPS TRTL
