Folks, if I use the config below on my 6513, what will be the action taken if broadcast levels go let's say, 20%?

I mean, I want to confirm that the below is enough to prevent action against broadcast, or in addition to the command below, I need to do "#storm-control action..." as well?

!

int f3/1

switchport

switchport mode access

no ip access

storm-control broadcast level 15.00

storm-control muticast level 15.00

end

Hello,

if inbound broadcast traffic is more then 15% in a 1 second interval it is dropped.

No additional action should be needed.

Verify the type of linecard you have because there are some differences

see
