ISP network model

hi everyone,

I want to analyse the performance of ospf and is-is in ISP network.

Can anyone please tell me the model of the network I should consider. Can you please give me a ISP network design. your help will be really appreciated.

Hi,

Today most of the ISP are using MPLS either in MPLS-VPN or BGP free core context so the backbone is in a single area. Regarding ISIS, routers establish L2-Level adj only.

In terms of performance, there is no significant difference today between both protocols as we have strong hardware to support them.
