10G Linecard on Supervisor Slot of Catalyst 6509

I want to know whether we can install a 10G linecard on the supervisor slot of a catalyst 6509E switch...

As all the other slots are utilized with different linecards and service modules we want to utilize the supervisor slot which is free....

can anyone give some inputs on this??

Hi:

The 10 G linecard can be placed in any slot in all Cisco 6500 and 7600 series chassis, except for the 6513 and 7613; in which case they can only occupy slots 9 through 13.
