I am operating Cisco Call Manager v7. It is purely the IP system, with no PSTN lines.
We do have connections with other Call Managers in other countries, for which I use Hunt Groups to route the calls.
I am trying to see if its possible to do 2 things.
1. I want the phones to ring with a different ring tone when the person calling originates from a different country, ie a different Hunt Group.
2. When calling a different Hunt Group I want a different dial tone. Eg when I press 9, I get a different dial tone.
Any help would be appreciated.

unfortunately that is not possible, you can only modify slightly the cadence but not have a whole different ringtone.
no different dial tones

How do I change the cadence. That is certainly better than nothing.

change the CCM service parameter
Call Classification to OnNet
then make sure the GWs and trunks have Off-Net
that will slightly change the cadence for calls that come thru a GW or trunk

Hello Javalenc,
Did you know if thet is some issues chaging the Call Classification from Off Net to On Net, for the system?
