in the log there is this problem:


*Mar 1 12:38:14: %PLATFORM_UCAST-6-PREFIX: One or more, more specific prefixes

could not be programmed into TCAM and are being covered by a less specific pref

if i wiev the explain of this error in cisco.com tell this:


Error Message PLATFORM_UCAST-6-PREFIX: One or more, more specific prefixes could not

be programmed into TCAM and are being covered by a less specific prefix

Explanation A more specific prefix could not be programmed into Ternary Content Addressable Memory (TCAM) and is covered by a less specific prefix. This could be a temporary condition. The output of the show platform ip unicast failed route privileged EXEC command lists the failed prefixes.


Recommended Action No action is required.


But , how can i to do for to remove this error or warning from the log?

Hello Francesco,


the 6 is for the severity level of the log message if you don't use ipv6 the routing sdm can be the right choice for use.

Hello Francesco,

you may need to change the SDM template that decides how the TCAM resources are used.


see


sdm prefer {default | dual-ipv4-and-ipv6 {default} | qos}

you may need to use a template more router oriented like dual-ipv4-and-ipv6 if you use IPv6


if you decide to change the SDM template you need to save the config and then to reload.
