Slow Fault History

Hi All,

Im using LMS2.6 with DFM 2.0.6. Everytime I open Fault History, it takes 30mins. before it open. Is this normal? Should i need to update my DFM version?

The time it takes to run a Fault History report depends on the number of events in Fault History, and the power of the server. How many events do you have? What are the server specs? What parameters are you specifying for the report?

Hi Joe,

I got 24 Critical Active Status. The server specs is Intel XEON CPU 3.2GHZ with 6GB of RAM and 130GB HD. Even i got only one event, for example flapping interface it takes me 30 mins before it shows the the total result of fault history. Is this normal?

No, this is not normal. I suggest you open a TAC service request so some analysis of the FH database can be done.
