Does the 6509E chassis support MDI/MDIX for network cabling connectivity?
If so, is it enabled or disabled by default?

The chassis won't support MDI/MDIX but the Sup and Blades will!

WS-X6748-GE-TX is MDI/MDIX enable by default.
