we are running a script, which records the caller and sends the recording to an email account. On internal calls, (Cisco IP Phone to UCCX) codecs on both sides are g711 ulaw.
When a call comes from outside, via SIP provider, the codec is g711 alaw, and g711 alaw is also sent from SBC towards Call Manager. The problem is, that recorded calls which come from the outside via SBC are empty when g711 alaw is used so i suspect that UCCX can only record u-law calls. Could that be true?
