NAM - How to identify traffic on a port

Hi,

If the current rate on any port on Cat65K shows for e.g. 5Mbps data transfer, is it possible to identify with 5Mbps how much is being used by which protocol and between which hosts.

So it could be that 2Mbps is used b/w host1 & 2 on sqlnet and remaining 3Mbps is used b/w host 3 & 4 on http.

These things are found under Monitor > Hosts, Monitor > Apps, and Monitor > Conversations. For example, to see all hosts talking HTTP, go to Monitor > Apps, and click on http. To see what protocols a certain top talking host is using, go to Monitor > Hosts, and click on one of the hosts to see the details.

Thanks. But this is across the ports. How can I identify the same for a specific physical port only.

to do this, span that port to one of the NAM's data ports. Then, when you look at the various monitor applications, you will see just the data for that one port.
