Question of CSM failover

There are two separate Cat6513 chassis each contain a CSM.We configured as active/standby.According to my understand, the traffic should be gone through only active one. But when I tried to "sh module contentSwitchingModule 5 conn" on the standby one, I also found out bunch of connections. If I am wrong, please correct it. Thanks for your help!

I too think that traffic should only go through the active CSM.

However, I found out that the standby unit would still probe the serverfarms so see if those connections are your probe traffic.

But why I also could find the CSM connection generated in the standby one?

The load balancing connection will be through the ACTIVE CSM. But if you have probes configured then you would see those connection to the standby csm also.I believe you are seeing the PROBE connections on the standby CSM. These wont be load balancing connections
