Hi,
i have 4 extension in CCM.. 87012250,87012251,87012252,87012253..
above all i have one more extension as 87012140..the number 2140 is going to publish..so when there is a call from above extension is made, it should 2140 as the extension not the original extensions...
i know this can be done via translation pattern but not getting the steps to perform..
please help
Regards,
Alok

not sure i understand what you want, but if you mean that when calling those 4 numbers you want 2140 to ring it's the CALLED NUMBER what you need to modify, not the calling number
if not, elaborate please

Hi there,
Its like we have a these four extensions..so if a call is coming from let say 87012250 to 87012243... than the nuber should display as 87012140 and not the original extension of 2250...and this is required for PSTN calls also...
so the requirment is the calling number 2250 in this case get translated to 2140..
I hope these clear ups the scenario..
Thanks

Hi Alok,
You mean when calling from these extension to PSTN, you want the calling number to be displayed as 87012140..correct?
In the Route-pattern or route-list, say calling-number Xform mask: 87012140. Reset Route-List.
Thanks,

ok, there are 2 options for this, do this via a translation pattern changing the calling party, you'll have to create the necessary copy of route patterns so you can reach them only with these phones
the other option is to create a new set of route patterns only for those phones and change it at route pattern or route group level.
