Does the OS CDs come from Cisco install a OS which is hardened?(Of course we install the patches and SR after that).
My customer wants to know this for CCM 6.1 & OS 2003.1.3a(for IPCCX).
Pls help to give a convincing answer.
Thanks

I'm trying to think of a "convincing answer" that would include the words Windows and hardened in the same sentence... but the sentence is just incoherent.
In all seriousness though: The customer needs to specify what their definition of hardened is. Unless they have a specific checklist of actions that you can test for, this is one of those pie-in-the-sky type questions.

Obviously, your CUCM is not a problem as it's not Windows. I also cannot answer the Windows question. Do you have a list of hardening requirements from your InfoSec group? You could simply install the OS OS 2003.1.3a with CRS and have a look.
