I was looking at the requirements for ACS 5.0 VMware image and it states that the ESX server needs 600GB of drive space and that the ACS VM requires 500GB of virtual drive space.
Why is this much drive space really needed? The 5.0 appliance only has a 250GB drive in it, so why does the vmware image need twice as much space?

Wait until you see the virtual machine size (1.2GB)! We suspect they are requesting those sizes because they want to make sure there is enough space (ie log files). We've asked but not heard an official answer yet.

1.2GB is far, far less than the 500GB the deployment guide asks you to configure in ESX. Did you mean 1.2TB?
