I'm able to access the remote switch via HTTP. However, I can't access it using HyperTerminal. My PCs IP is in the "ip http access-class 2" Access-List.

Here is the VTY setting on the switch. Any Ideas???

exec-timeout 0 0

transport input none

stopbits 1

line vty 0 4

access-class 2 in

exec-timeout 30 0

line vty 5 15

Does it work if you remove access-class from the line? Can anyone else telnet to it that's in the list?

I'll give it a try. I'll remove it from both vty 0 4 and vty 5 15.

Here is what is showing on the Configuration now and still no luck accessing the device using HyperTerminal. I get the following error: "Unable to connect to XXX.XXX.XXX.62 port 23". My "HT" emulation is Auto detect.

Try using the DOS command "telnet" instead of using HyeperTerminal.

Tried that and the same results.

Have you tried other machines? Could be a firewall.
