I have an IBM Remote Supervisor Adaptor (RSA) II with a Static IP Configuration of 10.17.10.2/24.
This is connected to a vlan(10.17.10.1/24) configured within a cisco 2811 router. The router's public access IP address is the "outside interface" with NAT to this "inside interface" vlan using a static NAT rules for inside/out and outside/in routing.
I have cleared both of these inside and outside interfaces of any access rules and the firewall is down. There are no port translations.
I can successfully ping the RSA card's IP address using the SDM program tool from the outside interface to the RSA static IP.
With this configuration (bare NAT translation and nothing else), Port 80 should not be blocked.
I cannot access the RSA card, the logon UserID/Password form does not appear and there is no web browser interface -- Explorer reports that the webpage cannot be displayed. I had a similar issue when I tried to access the RSA outside the same subnet.
But with this NAT and vlan setting, all should be fine.
Does anyone have any idea what is going on here?
Thanks in advance.
