Span in IOS ?

Hi all, can i configure span in router ios ? i think we cant so is there any workaround to get a copy of all the packets rec on one interface to be sent to some other interface ?

Port monitoring is generally done in the switch, so you could configure port monitoring on your switch and set the port that the router connects to as the source and set your sniffer port as the destination.

You can also do a packet capture on the router itself (assuming that what you want to do). Requires 12.4T or later.
