PPPoE down

Dear Friends,

On DSL network we are getting some complaints from customer which are related to PPPoE down, After restarting the DSL modem at customer problem solved and link functional properly.

here i am mentioning the core network scenerio in brief.

Backbone router--> [Juniper ERX devie(one leg is conneced to backbone router as uplink, another leg to L3 agg switch for customer ]--> L3 Switch as aggregation --> L3 Switch as Access switch from where different DSL nodes are connected.

NOte :- Here i am not mentioning all necessary server in network.

Please help me to trace the all possible cause with solution.

What is the cisco specific question in your problem above ?

Would only like to know in normal what could be the reason of this problem. and their solutions.

The is no "normal" reason that one can tell.

You should complain with the ADSL modem vendor.
